Kindergarten – Grade 8

*Families are eligible to receive the Participating Catholic tuition rate based on their participation in the life of the Parish by attending Mass regularly, involvement in ministry programs, supporting the Parish through their giving programs and your child(ren) are baptized.

Multiple siblings discount for students enrolled in grades K-8.
Tuition paid in full by July 1 receives a 2% discount.

Little Lightning Pre-K

The Little Lightning Pre-K program is a five day a week program offering a half-day and full day program with the option of extended day care.

Annual Fees

Enrollment Fee: $1000 (due upon acceptance)

The enrollment fee covers technology (device, applications and platforms) and class fees (field trips and classroom & student needs)

Grade 8: Graduation Fee $75

Extended Day Care: Kindergarten – Grade 8

Extended Day Care (EDC) is available after school for Elementary and Jr. High School students.

$10 per hour per hour/$5 per half hour
*Billed monthly according to the hours attended

Monday – Friday (when school is in session)
Before School: 7:00am-Morning Assembly After school: Dismissal – 6:00pm

Volunteer Hours

One of the ways parents connect and build community is through volunteering together. From volunteering in the classroom, driving on field trips and class celebrations to joining a parent leadership committee, we are in it to support our students and St. Lucy School!

Volunteer Commitment

Scrip Fundraising Program

Scrip is a no-cost fundraising program that offers e-gift cards or physical gift cards for purchase at face value. The school receives a percentage of each purchase as profit. Each family is required to earn $250 ($125 for single parent households) in profit/rebates for St. Lucy School by purchasing Scrip, buying out for the full amount, or doing a combination of the two between May 1 and April 30.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to St. Lucy School families each year and is awarded based on funds available and family need. Financial Aid awards are determined by the documentation the family provides.

All communication is confidential, as families work directly with school administration. To be eligible for financial aid complete the financial aide application after the application has been submitted through TADS (the Diocese of San Jose enrollment portal)

Financial Aid applications received by the deadline are eligible to receive financial aid from the Diocese of San Jose and/or St. Lucy School.

Basic Fund
Families who are new to the school may also apply for the BASIC Fund, a privately funded multi-year scholarship administered in San Francisco. Basic Fund applications are available in December at www.basicfund.org.
