EDC cost is $10 per hour and $5 per half hour, billed monthly according to hours attended.

What are Lightning families' volunteer and fundraising commitments?

Volunteer hours

One of the top three reasons why families love St. Lucy is because of our community! From volunteering in the classroom to joining a parent leadership committee, it’s all in support of our students! Each family is required to fulfill volunteer hours each year. Two-parent households are required to fulfill 40 hours per year; single-parent households are required to fulfill 20 hours per year. Households only with a child in Pre-K are required to fulfill 20 hours per year.

Scrip fundraising program

Scrip is a no-cost fundraising program that offers e-gift cards or physical gift cards for purachse at face value. St. Lucy School receives a percentage of each purchase as profit.

Each family is required to earn $250 ($125 for single-parent households) in profit/rebates for St. Lucy School by purchasing Scrip, buying out for the full amount, or a combination of the two by May 1st and April 30th.
