STEP 2: KINDER & 1ST GRADE SCREENING & 2ND-8TH GRADE STUDENT SHADOW DAYS

Pre-K Applicants: Our youngest applicants do not attend a screening session or a shadow day, but we would love to meet them! After the applicant’s application is submitted, we will reach out to set up a date/time. The meet & greet is optional and not required for admission.

Kindergarten & 1st Grade Applicants: Screening

Your child will spend about 20-30 minutes with our Kindergarten Teacher, Mrs. D’Amico engaged in activities as she gets to know your child. This is not something you need to prepare for, it is an opportunity for your child to see the classroom, meet the teacher and for us to get to know your child and family.   A screening session will be scheduled once the applicant’s application has been submitted.

2nd-8th Grade Applicants: Lightning for a Day Shadow Days
Spend the day as a Lightning! Students applying for grades 2nd-8th are invited to join us at morning assembly and in the class for the day meeting friends and experiencing St. Lucy School! Your child will shadow in the grade they are currently in this school year. Lightning for a Day will be scheduled once the applicant’s application has been submitted.

The following documents must be submitted to office@stlucsychool.org 24 hours prior to student screening/Lightning for a Day.

  • Grade 1-8 applicants: Most recent report card and recent standardized test scores
  • Kinder applicants: Preschool progress report (if available)
